Second Monday Monthly Bible Study in Brentwood
January 12th from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Sunday School of Tenth Church of Christ, Scientist Los Angeles. All are welcome to come. Prepare ahead for the discussion by reading Matthew, chapters 23 and 24. There will be an “Agape”-style dinner (pot luck) at 6:00 p.m., with pizza or some other “main dish” provided. Just so you know, the group will be continuing until Matthew is finished - which will be in March, when they will finish the last two chapters. Then they will start the Book of John.

Bible Study Every Other Thursday in Downtown Los Angeles
January 15th from 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jointly Maintained Christian Science Reading Room of Greater Los Angeles. Join us in our self-directed, small group discussions on Thursdays every other week starting January 15th, 2009. It should be made clear that no one will be pushing any religion, but that all are welcome to share their understanding of, and supporting study materials for, the Bible. Please be prepared to discuss Genesis 1-5, and bring a study Bible with you. (We sell the New Oxford Annotated Bible, which is the New Revised Standard Version with the Apocrypha, for $32.99 if you would like to pre-order a copy!)
Public transportation is highly recommended, as parking is quite expensive.
